3rd Week of Ramadhan

Hello dearest readers..How's your day? It seems like times past so fast. We're already in the 3rd week of ramadhan. Have you prepared for hari raya? Me, not a single thing. This year I have no passion to celebrate. I'm so lazy to make biscuits. I cooked only for iftar like 2 times per week. Other days mak or my sisters prepare for iftar. It's totally different like other past years ramadhan. I have no appetite to eat, i eat just to not feel hungry not stuffing myself like normally i did. Maybe because we're only 2 people in house, me and mak. My mak also like that, 5 minutes after iftar she'll finish eating and go to pray. I haven't started cleaning house, I haven't buy baju raya or maybe I won't buy any. I hate going to malls, it's crowded on weekend and hard to find parking.

On the other hand, i'm currently doing my data collection so my mind is so tired. So tired that I just don't want to wake up from sleep because I don't want to think.

Lets see how my hari raya will turn out this year. Will update later.
Bye.

Dream Life

Everybody have their own dream for life. And it is changing as age changes. When I was child my dream is to enter university and become an accountant. I achieved half of it which entered university but not graduated in accountancy. If you asked me what is the biggest I've done for my life was that. I regret of not choosing the right university and course. It's all because following my teenage want without thinking my future.

After graduated I dream to have a great profession in a corporate world but I end up further my Master and later Phd. Thus, I think my only choice now in profession is only to become lecturer which was the most profession I never want to be during my schoolhood. Well, we'll see later...

And now in adult life, my dreams is focused on what life I want to have after I finish my education. I don't mean about occupation but the way of life. House, family, lifestyle etc. Now I will share about it with purpose that after some years I can glance back to see whether I achieved it or not. I prefer to live in a countryside area a.k.a kampung in Malay. Not village that is really far from urbanism but not in the middle of city. I want to have small country house, with garden for me to plant vegetables and flowers as what mak is doing now. Have chicken coop so that I will wake up from sleep because of the rooster's crow and during hari raya I can cook rendang kampung chicken. To hear birds chirping instead of the sound of car engines. I will plant a nice grass on the lawn so that in the evening I can have tea with families under tree sheds on a green grass. At the backyard I want to plant vegetables and spices so that when I need some of it I just can open the back door and take it. Cooking while looking at my plants will be so great.

My kitchen would be an open one which mean there is no separation between living area and kitchen. so that I can watch what my children is doing while I'm cooking or my husband can do his work at the living room while me preparing meals. About children I want 3. 2 is ok. Moreover my other siblings also have not so many children. So 3 is my choice 2 girls and 1 boy. Well I have some years left before it become impossible. haha. I will decorate my house in very country living theme. A mix with cream, green and red colors. Minimalist furniture with wide area for the children to play.

I prefer to work instead SAHM because I don't want to depend on my hb's money. That's just not me. I learn to be independent since my father passed away. I'll shop online (outfits) more because I hate of choices and make decision to buy during family outing. I prefer to spend more time with them doing things that we can do together while I am off. Moreover, some of supermarkets nowadays have the delivery to home service for groceries shopping.

I will travel the world. Places that I love to go such as Italy, Australia, South Korea (again), Turkey and UK. I prefer to go to cities (well, as I live in a countryside), rather than island or mountains or anything that involves physical activities.

In my life, I love to live far from the people that I know or know me. Only close families and friends. Which means that I will have a quality relationships rather than mix of everything. I don't know why but my experience in life has taught me that somehow people that are not very close to me just want to take advantage. Therefore I just need some important people in mylife.

Oh what have I rambled about? Whatever..let me look back on this post 10 years later and see what happened and what not. Taa daafe baad.....love me the way I am and lets dream nicely because dream will lead us to achievement.

Confuse

I'm having a sense like burn in my heart heart since past 2 weeks. 3 years ago I experienced a very bad heart burn. I was sent to emergency and they did ecg on my heart. But nothing bad about it, doctor said it's just because of stress and coincidently because that time I took detox tea my heart pumped harder. They gave me medication to slow down my heart beat. Eversince then, it didn't happen again until lately.

If I want to describe how it feels, it is like you prick your skin with needle. It doesnt happen always but I feel it when I sit or drive. I'm worry about it. I know it's because of my stress and problems. Tomorrow I'll start my vacation but I don't feel so excited. I supposed to be very happy now because this is the time I'm waiting for after 3 months. It's a bit confusing to me. Will I enjoy my trip? I should. Everything is ready and packed. I just hope that everything goes well and come back in 1 piece. I don't want this heart burn to be worsened during my holiday.

Taa daafe baad...farda migam koja daram miram...khoda hafez..

Adapted Irani - being okhdeii

It's weekend!! It means meeting khanavadeh (family) specifically nieces and nephews. Every weekend's  event. Today we went kharid (buy) for household things..then i asked niece what do you wana eat for dinner? She wants kuew tiaw goreng. Fried rice noodles. At first i wanted to cook penang style, the watery style. But then i forgot to buy prawn to make the sauce. So i just cooked the simple version. Maybe i'll up an entry for the recipe later. Because this time i wana talk about becoming irani.

Actually i was pissed off with one chinese girl. I stumbled upon her facebook through mypersiankitchen. As always, i stalked her. :) you know i like the fact that she's learning farsi as well as trying to be persian. But i found that she is over reacted to be irani. Why i said that is because one of her post said something like this "maleziyaei kheng! Hame malayi  bishoore". The first sentence she wrote in her post means "dumb malaysian". But then after some comments she wrote the second sentence which literally means "all malays are rude". What she actually wanted to say? Is it referred to malaysian or malay? Does she knows the different between those two words? She claimed herself 80% irani. But how come she have confusion here? Another comment she wrote "man az malezi montaneferam" which means i hate malaysia. Hello dokhtar age shoma az malezi montaneferi boro gomsho az inja! (Get lost from here). Later i realized that the sentences that she wrote i ever heard before and it came from iranian. Are you trying to say that you are already 100% irani to say something like that. I have no problem with "real iranian" to have saying that because i know the difference between iran and malaysia, because i've been there. But then you girl, have you ever been there?  Pasho dige (wake up) and swallow that you are still chinese malaysian and you can never be iranian. Step on your ground babe! Stop saying that you love to be iranian. It is just becoz your bf is iranian. If your bf is pakistani, maybe now you are learning urdu and trying to hate people who are skeptical with pakistani who sells carpet.

My message to her: khahareman, basse dige. Enghad khodetun jelo irania okhdei nakon. Midunam kheili dustari irani beshi. Mesle man. Raahe dorosabi boro. Hatman duspesaret dustare shoma harfe ba adab bezani. Mikhay irani beshi na bayad chiziayo bad ham bokoni. Vaghan man khoshalam bebinam shoma farsi ham baladi. Behet eftekhar mikonam. Ba ayandat movafagh beshid!

Ok. Thats all. It is a reminder to myself also. Even though thousands time my bff said he is proud of me to learn to be persian and he wants me to be truely persian, i said i can never leave my roots. I will always be a malay. And i will never say something offensive to my roots and country. that is bishoor. My purpose of learning is to make things more comfortable, to shrink the difference and to understand each other more.

Damagh-e-Kuchulu

Bff always tease me because my nose is small (kuchulu) and no bone. And my shades always slides down my nose. T____T
Hey, I am a Javanese and this is my signature!

p/s: mind my eyebrows. lol!

Life so far

After some quiet time, again I opened this blog. My mood in writing has been swing for some times due to some circumstances. It might come to the ups and down from life. My study is the biggest factor. I am so tired already, waiting to finish my proposal write up because I am lazy..too lazy. I can say the worries of life lies behind it. there's too much to think, about everything. internet could be the second factor. Everytime i turned on the computer, 80% of my time spent for un-academic sites. it's all my bad i know and i should blame myself for that. Lets move to more interesting topic rather than study.

Till then, bye!

Another 5 Years To Come

I just renewed my passport. This time I chose for 5 years instead 2. Economically and logically it is better because for 2 years we should pay RM100 but it is valid only for 1 and half year for overseas and 1 and 1 and half quart for ASEAN countries. But the price for 5 years for me is expensive and not affordable for low to middle income people, RM300. وادفک (sorry for impoliteness but I just found out this from internet written by iranian and I think its cool, its like fusion-ing english abbreviation :)). For me the government should decrease the price as we the people feel burden and can stop our intentions to explore the world. Or economically, maybe it is one of their strategies to decrease the amount of cash out from country. Chemidunam.

Well, back to the story. I spent about 4 hours at the immigration  office today. Very tiring and to kill the time I managed to draft my interview questions asked by the sv as well as memorizing one song from Maziar Fallahi. Also I met my degree mate, Nora there. She came to collect her new passport after lost it at car wash. The message is never leave your car at the car wash while you go to other place. Never ever trust car wash. I heard so many same stories, even I have friend who lost his lorry at car wash or should I say lorry wash. haha. whatever it is, the bottom line is here in Malaysia never trust people you dont know. Especially for those expatriates because criminals are watching you more than to us the locals. A little clumsiness will become disaster. This friend asked "are you going to Iran again?" since I renewed my passport. I just smiled, maybe...somewhere in this year..eshala..
1223 and 120 to go :(

Khodahafez!!

Hibernation

Quite a long time I didn't update this blog. Workloads and studies are the main reasons. Even technology has make it easier which I can update from iphone, still I think I don't have extra time to do that. Sigh..

Life has been great for me. I cook lots and sure I will share it here to keep as my reference in the future. Bff is now completing the last work for his thesis. My pray is for him to finish it on time so that he can rest and go back to his family in Iran. I can see his stress, missing hometown. Hopefully before August he can finish everything and fly back to Iran. For me it will be my chance to have new mantou, magna and other Iran's goodies. weehooo!! The sooner he settle everything, the sooner our dream come true :)

On the other hand, my studies is way too far. Semester 2 has finished and next semester I have to prepare for proposal defense. I won't reveal how much I did, what I can say is it feel like killing me now. I just hope everything will be ok.

And the latest news, I got new nephew on May 11. Aaoron Harris. Yes, maybe my brother and sis in law ia hard fan or Aaron Aziz and Ombak Rindu.

That's all from now coz I have mehmoon (guests) to come for sham (dinner) which I cooked tahchin, salad makaroni and jemput-jemput pisang. Pictures will be update. Bye!

Selamat tinggal

Today I sent 1 thing away from my life. A thing with lots of memories in 2 years. That shows me the world. In a heavy rain, it left me far from my sight. Thank you for your sacrifices. You will always in my mind. Forever. Hopefully she/he will take care of you better..
