Busy bee & Khane Be Doosh

I am a busy bee lately..coz my bee is here thus, a packed timetable plus the unfinishable research.
Tomorrow i'll be in Uitm Shah Alam for interview not for job, but research related thingy..Wish me luck.

And this is what I've been watching everyday before sleep. Khane Be Doosh which literally means a person who doesnt have permanent place to stay, just like parandeh (bird). Apart from its great story line, the serial is attractive for me because it tells about a man who is about to go to Malezi (Malaysia) but being cheated by somebody that left him with another man (Reza Attaran) homeless to hinder shame of coming back home.

Khaleh va Khahar Zadeh

Being the last child is nice. Apart from getting lots of intentions from older brothers and sisters and parents, I am so happy to be growing up with my nieces and nephews. They are my friends, they give me happiness and never hurt me. I tried to treat them as they are my children. As long as I can, I will try to provide the best for them. Every time when sorrow hit me, they always cheered me up. They are always there for me.

When they asked me
"When Maksu (the title of youngest aunty) want to marry?",
I always replied "If I married, who wana take you out? Who wana buy you this and that? If my husband take me far from here, you won't miss me?"
Then they said "Oh please maksu, don't marry". Hehe.

Today we went to eat outside, in car I teased Putri (17 years old) "Come I wana kiss you"
She said "Ewwwwww"
I replied "Why cant I? Since small I kiss you." But seriously I dont wana kiss her. hehe

Remember my last post about Izzati? She is really into everything that I am doing. She learns Farsi too. So, this time I recorded Farsi practice video with her. Enjoy..

Malas

14 February

Happy Valentines Day...

It is a LOVE day for people who are in love..
I dont care with all the craps saying valentines is haram..is it bad to have a special day to commemorate the love we are having? It is not that I am going to worship Christianity or Valentine or whatever ritual related to valentines day, it is just for fun, to add spiciness to relationship.

For us 14 February every year is special not just because it is a valentines day but also our sort of anniversary. So this year is out 5th. Pray the best for us.

I made this video. It is a lovely song from Siavash Shams - Nafas which I put Malay language translation on it.
Enjoy and love your loved ones more today :)

Learn Farsi Through iPhone یادگیری زبان فارسی از ایفون

"where there is a will, there is a way"

Technology has made life easier. I use my phone in learning farsi, recipes, culture, etc..
This is my lazy way..

1. Podcasts

These are some podcasts that I subscribed. My favorite is Learn Persian with Chai & Conversation. Leyla is a very good teacher and Matt is a Farsi learner whom his wife is Iranian (Ladan). I always hear this before sleep. Other than that, Press TV have good documentaries about Iran regarding culture, foods, places and celebration.

2. Applications

FarsiNevis is an application to help me to write words in farsi.
You just need to enter farsi words written in abc format and the application will turn it into farsi wordings. But beware as the application wont correct the wrong spellings.

FarsiSB is a quiz of 90 farsi words for us to answer the meaning. I think this application is designated for kids, but for a beginner like me, it is also beneficial :) For example before this I didnt know that duck is also morghaabee in farsi other than ordak

FarsiTripis also for kids. You have to answer the meaning of each farsi word they ask by touching the object. For example, "soorati" refere to pink color.

Zangoole is forkids as well. But it is fun to learn farsi kids song btw :)

This application is about farsi poems. I start to learn poems but my way is still far. I use this application for reading purpose.

3. Applications for ashpazi (recipes)

Except the 2 middle applications, the 3 applications is useful for me in learning iranian foods recipes as well as improve my farsi readings because ashpazilite and peymooneh are in farsi writings.

Any other FREE applications for iphone suggestions??
