Ingredients
~ 300 g beef or lamb, 2cm cubed
~ Green peeper, seeded and cut into squares
~ Onions
~ Tomato
For marinade
~ 3 tbsp olive oil
~ Garlic cloves, minced
~ 1 large onion, grated
~ 1 tbsp mix herbs
~ 1/2 tbsp ground black pepper
~ Juice of 1 lime
Methods
1. Blend meat with all ingredients for marinade. Cover and leave to marinade overnight in fridge. Meat will become tender by next day.
2. Thread the cubes of meat onto skewers, alternating with pieces of green pepper and onion. Tomato should be thread separately because it cooks faster.
3. Grill over charcoal or stove (like what i did because charcoal will takes time) for 10 minutes, basting with butter.
P/s: Bff really concern about the tenderness of meat (noticed all Iranians are like that btw). To make sure my kebab pass the ISO, what I did was slightly punch the meat with pestle before threading onto skewers. It's actually a way for another type of kebab called bargh kebab. Anyway, do anything to make people like your foods. Till then, bye...
